Olim Foundation is the Group’s charitable scholarship fund. It pays university tuition for talented, motivated students who need support, and stays with them until graduation through training, mentoring and an alumni community.
The foundation was established by the family in 2020 in memory of Olim Hasanov. He intended to pay for gifted students’ education and did not live to do it, so the family carried on his plan. The foundation’s logo is his silhouette, taken from a photograph.
The first open competition was held in 2021 and selected six scholarship holders. Today the fund covers tuition contracts for dozens of students every year and runs their development programme until graduation.
Selection runs in three stages. Applications are weighed on need (50%), initiative (25%) and potential (25%).
Current scholarship holders are assessed every year: academic performance (GPA) 60 points, research and innovation 10, personal development 10, participation in the foundation’s seminars 10, volunteering 10.

The aim is not just to pay for a degree but to bring up a professional: since 2025 every scholarship holder has a dedicated team of curators.
Graduates of the foundation work in ministries (36.6%), state organisations (24.4%) and international companies (14.6%), teach at universities (12.2%) or continue to master’s programmes at leading universities (12.2%).
Scholarship holders have won 18 named and state scholarships and 7 international competitions, published more than 300 research papers and earned 20 professional certificates.
2020 — founded.
2021 — first competition: 60 applications, 6 scholarship holders.
2023 — 150 applications; the first graduates show results.
2025 — a dedicated curator team, seminars and training for every scholarship holder.
Next — a business incubator, start-ups by scholarship holders, an in-house expert team.
